Fisrt Show as the Conquerors

Hello I thought it would be appropriate that we make a first post especially since we recently had our first performance as "The Conquers of Comedy" (like 2 weeks ago) and I haven't posted about it yet. The first performance was bittersweet but felt mostly bitter in my mouth… now that I've had some time to think about it could have gone much worse. First of all, we sort of stubble upon this gig. We were just sort of chatting with a restaurant proprietor and he offered us the gig. We were treated like royalty when we showed up for the gig the owner bought us beers introduced us to just about everyone who worked there. It was unfortunate that venue's acoustics didn't really hold up for comedy. The amp wasn't loud enough and many patrons were unable to hear what we saying… which caused them to return back their meals and talking with their friend… thus making it harder for others to hear. The performance went pretty well otherwise. We appreciated the many customers who came up to us afterwords and showed appreciation for our jokes. Special thanks go out to a girl from Dallas who wanted to hang out with us after the show… and to Liam and his table of friends. He laughed after just about everyone's jokes. Always the best kind of audience member. I really hope the venue figures out a way too fix the problems and invites us back.. It was a pretty cool place.
